I am Avinash and go by the name iPilot777 in the online world. I was born in Bangalore, India in the mid 1980s. I’ve called many places home since then, including Calcutta (now Kolkata), WB; Jalandhar, PB; Ludhiana, PB; Mysore, KA; Indore, MP; Baramati, MH; Ahmedabad, GJ; and I am now back at my birth place since 2012. I live with my wife, son, dad, mom, and an uncle.
I graduated with a B.Com from a university recognized by the UGC in 2009.
You can find me on Twitter, now X and good old-fashioned email (avinash {at} ipilot777 dot com).
I was born to parents who had jobs with all India transfers which happened every few years! I began visiting places even before I could sit, stand or walk! There was no better life to ask for! Don’t believe? I travelled from Bangalore to Calcutta (now Kolkata) via Madras (now Chennai) by train with only an acquaintance and stayed there for a good 14+ days at a close family friend’s place and returned back with the same acquaintance, all this when I was only 3.5 years old! All of this without my parents or any of the family members by my side, during the late 1980s. Now can anyone beat this!
Having lived in Calcutta for a little over 3 years while a toddler, it was only natural that I learned to speak Bengali fluently even before I could properly speak or understand the two languages spoken in my family, Kannada and Telugu.
The way a child is raised, definitely plays a big part in the way he/she is groomed. Visiting places, travelling, meeting new people, learning about new cultures, respecting different views, habits, way of life, staying away from fights, danger, anti-social or immoral things and several related things came naturally to me.
It was no surprise that I wanted to grow up and choose a profession which involved a lot of travelling! Take a guess, who travels the most at work? Well, there are a plenty of such professions but when you compare the distance : time ratio, nobody can beat a Pilot! Without much thinking, from an early age, I was certain what I wanted to be! I grew up and enrolled at a flying school to become a Pilot, but unfortunately I was diagnosed with a mild colour blindness. It didn’t take long to find out that this condition comes in the genes by birth and there is no cure, yet. Do you think I must respect all the doctors / medical scientists? No! I had to give up my passion, my one and only childhood dream because those people are not doing their studies / research / jobs well enough. In addition to my love for travelling, I had developed a much greater love to fly planes! Life had to go on, but this time, it was without a plan!
You know you have grown up when you begin to feel the pain and want to do something to make the pain go away. Well, as a child, this pain is often sorted out by the parents even before you realise it. I sure had grown up, at least mentally and emotionally a few years earlier than what was considered the norm of the society that I lived in. Each one of us have a different approach to get out of an uncomfortable situation or a low phase in life and similarly I was highly influenced by the movies. I felt only movies can be the solution that was acceptable to me, that would not just give me strength and courage but also would add to the list of my most cherished memories.
The advantages of being born in India are many, but one particular advantage I had during this phase of my life was, there are tons of movies in several languages across genres which almost makes you identify with some character or a story to call as your own! Travel, planes and my next love in the line was for movies! What did I learn from all the movies? After a great loss, always go into solitude for a while and then bounce back even stronger! India being so populated, where can you find solitude? I had also visited and travelled through the entire country several times by now, except the North-East region. This was enough reason for me to plan and begin my solo trips, abroad. Of course, this wasn't a holiday, it wasn't for luxury, not to become another backpacker who wanted to add count to the list of countries visited in his/her passport. Solitude, Adventure and Experience were my primary keywords and I was glad to have visited several countries in South-East Asia, Central Asia as well as in the Middle East including difficult to travel places like Afghanistan, Iran and few others. More stories on those trips later.
I had only heard about this line in the movies, but it really seemed like the entire universe had conspired these events which became a reason to my series of independent travels. Connecting the dots, one event led to another, bringing out the hidden desires in me and fulfilling many such desires.
I have myself followed many-many travel blogs from some great travellers and other people of modern times and am a big fan of a few. I take their work as an inspiration to fill up my small space here. You will not get a 100% grammatically accurate or even well written stories here. But what you will read here will be from my heart and as you know, heart never lies! Sign up for updates and do like, share and comment to encourage a non writer like me to become a storyteller!
I’ve spent the last 15 years working in Audit, Taxation, Compliance, Liaison, Commercials, Industry Setup and Development right from the scratch, creating two Startups, Software Engineering, Product Development and worked on developing a handful of Business Ideas suitable to the Indian market. I have been emotionally and passionately involved with everything that I ever did without letting any other matters like money, recognition, politics or other issues come in the way to disturb or distract my focus. Despite my best efforts, there were things beyond my limits that was slowing down my growth and I needed to understand, learn and implement whatever was needed so that I could reach someplace extraordinary.
When the issue didn’t seem to resolve for some time, it was a good enough indication that I must head towards God to seek help. Since God doesn’t answer strangers directly, I needed a medium and that medium was the divine Vedic Astrology. When I found the right Astrologer at the right time and got the answers to most of my “why’s”, it also gave me an answer to “what next” and it didn’t take long for me to realise that Vedic Astrology, healing, offering divine guided solutions is my true calling. I soon began my full time study of the subject and haven’t looked back since then. While my studies will continue for as long as I am alive in this birth, I also wish to help by guiding anyone who is at an all time low in life and feels that all doors are closed for them. Thankfully, all my experiences since childhood and especially the upbringing from my parents has made me take ethics, principles, morals and similar things very seriously and this makes me a good candidate to assist, help and guide others and bring happiness back on their faces and in their lives too! I am now a Vedic Astrologer who uses the highest, purest and truest form of knowledge learned by a Guru who has the divine blessings from the Gods. I don’t have to rely on selling the so-called astrological products, gemstones or other expensive remedies that are frequently and easily found in the market. I am a Vedic Astrologer, a Jyotisha, the one who can guide you with the best solution.
